Rainbow Bay represents a good each-way option and can get one over on the in-form Ryedane, while Ebraam and Desert Master are others that cannot be ruled out in this company. Desert Master returns to the scene of his maiden success from earlier in the year and has fair claims from his current mark. The Chris Wall-trained gelding obviously likes this surface and would be dangerous to rule out. (Similar comments apply to Napoleon Dynamite but he has a bit to prove regarding the trip.) Ebraam is closely matched with the in-form Ryedane and holds valid each-way claims. However, like the hat-trick seeking Ryedane, he is rising up the weights and is not one to be wading in with at cramped odds. Therefore, Rainbow Bay - a battled hardened character - rates as a more sporting option. The David Evans-trained four-year-old is unexposed on this surface and, as he comes here on the back of a seemingly much improved display, he rates as the best value option tonight.
