Debonnaire is given a narrow vote in a tricky opener, Fujin Dancer, Royal Applaud and Deira Dubai are three others all with claims. Mark Johnston's filly is nicely bred being by Anabaa out of a Rahy mare. She is related to numerous two-year-old winners and with the yard in such good form she could be worth chancing. Fujin Dancer could be the pick of the two Richard Fahey debutantes, boasting a decent enough pedigree and is the choice of stable jockey Paul Hangan. Royal Applaud has shown promise in two races to date and should figure in the finish. However Deira Dubai could be the pick of the experienced runners having finished just a length behind Giant Love at York. John Dunlop's runners always have to be respected here at Ponty and so the once raced Fairy Wood is worth a glance in the market, but on this occasion we will side with a newcomer and plump for Debonnaire.
