Foreplay looks up to the task here, with Deserving, Canina and Ashburnham others to consider. The selection is dropped in class after just two starts on turf in the summer, and although the form of her two previous runs haven't set the world alight, she has shown enough to be put up as a selection provided she takes to the surface. Deserving already has course experience to her name and was not beaten far here over five furlongs last month. However, her latest start over this trip suggests that is still a stamina doubt over it and for that reason she is opposed. Canina handles this track well and should be involved, but also looks better over the minimum, while Ashburnham drops back in trip to 6f for the first time, so may lack enough speed to score. Not a great maiden, and we take Foreplay to score.
