An uninspiring contest to get us underway at Dunstal Park, with most of these never able to run two races alike. The one you could exclude from that statement is the lightly raced Acorazado, who should still be open to a little improvement. He did run well on his only previous start here when only weakening in the latter stages over seven-furlongs and with this slightly shorter trip in his favour, he looks the one to beat. Summer Shades is capable of a bold show, for she travels well in her races, but on the downside she has shown her best form at slightly further than this, while Dil is another, who on his best form would have decent claims, but consistency is not his middle name.
