In depth

Verdict

Zorawar landed a double over shorter trips here last month but is 14lb higher than his latest success. He went close in a claimer at Lingfield last time and has the beating of Anif on collateral form. Captain Pugwash finished closer here a fortnight ago when ahead of Rubensian but Beatbybeatbybeat has struggled since scoring over course and distance in August. Amy Murphy’s German recruit Movie Star makes her handicap debut and so does ICONIC GIRL. The latter has gone close over a mile at Lingfield but pedigree strongly suggests middle-distances will see Andrew Balding’s filly at her best and she gets a chance to prove it in this.
