Not much to get excited about in this opener, though it does feature a couple of recent winners in the shape of Kristjano and LAMH AR LAMH. Nigel Hawke’s five-year-old has suddenly found some form and can follow up his victory at Taunton, despite the drop in distance. Bazarov keeps finding one too good and has been odds-on the last twice so needs treating with caution now. Dr Oakley disappointed at Wetherby last month but may do better upped in trip.
