Plenty of this seven runner field come here in form but after a taking win last time we'll give PAINT THE TOWN RED the chance to follow up and get the better of Augustus John and Look Officer. Not always the most consistent the pick certainly created a favourable impression with his comfortable enough success over course and distance on that last run. He's up three pounds for that, which seems fair enough and based on some of his previous form he is still well weighted. Augustus John took back-to-back wins before running a decent race in defeat off this mark on his latest effort. He does his best work late in the contest so his previous narrow scores suggest he should be more than capable off his current handicap rating. Look Officer isn't that badly treated based on his easy score at Southwell in January. He's not quite been able to repeat that since and it will be interesting to see if this extra yardage will suit. Houston Dynimo is a bit hit or miss but he hasn't had much racing recently and he too looks to have a chance based on some of his better efforts but in a competitive little race Paint The Town Red can follow up.
