Fifth Commandment is interesting as this is by some way her easiest assignment to date but she does have to prove her effectiveness on the surface and is opposable with JACK SMUDGE. James Given's horse has done nothing but progress since winning a Catterick maiden in August and arrives here chasing the five-timer. He's up a further 5lbs for winning at Kempton but really impressed with his attitude that day and this small field will suit a horse who likes to get on with things. Owain is 6lbs higher than when beaten by a narrow margin the last time he ran in handicap company and seems to act on the surface so he's considered along with Restless Bay, who caught the eye on Saturday in a race that favoured those ridden prominently. The concern would be he's dropped in distance which looks far from ideal but blinkers are tried and they could well do the trick.
