It's tempting to side Sir Michael Stoute's Insolence after the filly's promising start to her career but at the forecast odds BURNS NIGHT looks like offering some value and with Mark Johnston's charge now better weighted we'll take him to score with the on form Spring Secret also on the list. On breeding the pick should have no worries in regards to the surface, which he takes to for the first time. A poor run last time aside his handicap form has been consistent if not spectacular but now at three pounds better off than when only finding just a really well handicapped subsequent dual winner too good in July he must have leading claims. Insolence only beat two home on her handicap debut last time but this is perhaps an easier assignment and he should run a big race. Spring Secret is probably the form horse of the race having scored in two of his last four starts. He ran really well under a penalty last time to confirm his well being so we expected him on the premises. Too Tall and Navajo Nation both make the shortlist after some recent good efforts but Burns Night looks weighted to land some value.
