Not much to choose between any of these but having placed in a much better race when five pounds worse off in June PIANOFORTE just lands the call ahead of plating class specialist Rowan Lodge and the competitively handicapped Vanadium. Having found just one too good off a nice mark on his return to these ranks last time the selection still looks fairly treated given a three pound mark rise. It could be he is back to a bit of form and as long has he comes out well from an engagement at Redcar on Wednesday he looks just the pick. It's been a while since Rowan Lodge took victory in a handicap but he has been running really well in sellers and claimers this season. He looks fairly weighted on his return to this sphere and he¿ll have every help from his pilot. Vanadium runs this track well and should make the frame under this burden and Headache might just be moving in the right direction to mount a challenge. This is competitive in the extreme so Pianoforte remains a tentative selection.
