Restless Bay rarely runs a bad race around here but struggles to get his head in front and has never won over this trip. Neither has POWERFUL PIERRE but he kept on well enough to score over 6f in a fast-run race here last month, despite Declan Cannon dropping his whip. He's 5lb higher now but is probably worth sticking with after that confidence-booster. Chookie Avon can be forgiven last month's run on Turf and is another with solid claims but Jungle Bay is proving disappointing and Lucky Dan appears to have lost his way. Waabel was second over 5f at Brighton earlier this month but has found this trip beyond him in the past.
