In depth

Verdict

Canadian Danehill is fast becoming a standing dish around here but he still has some way to go to match the course record of the admirably tough ALMATY EXPRESS. An incredible 16 of his 19 career wins have come on this track and he coped well with the drop back to 5f when only beaten half-a-length last time. Though he's 3lb higher today, John Weymes' veteran is probably the one to beat again. Tagula Breeze is yet to rediscover any form since a lengthy lay-off but Sharp Shoes looked on the way back when fourth at Hamilton and Ladydolly has been in good form this spring. Instructress won easily at Lingfield on her return and looks the pick of the remainder.
