Fast Track has been much improved since joining the stable of Richard Hannon from Graham McCourt's yard and should be able to defy his 6lb penalty to complete a hat-trick of wins. The son of Doyoun made a winning start for his new connections when landing a handicap over the extended nine furlongs here at the begging if the month and followed up in convincing fashion over the same trip a week later. The drop in trip should not hinder the five-year-old, who can race off the same mark as last time. Brian Smart's Friday's Takings may not have beaten much when opening his account at the 16th attempt in a Southwell maiden last week but the son of Beveled did so with some ease, beating his nearest rival by seven lengths. While the colt may have improved, a 6lb penalty and stiffer opposition makes things harder here though, and he is probably best watched. Flying Treaty races off the same mark as when scoring over course and distance last week and has to be respected, as does the Derek Haydn Jones-trained Heathers Girl, who showed her best form to date here last time. With the Nick Littmoden yard continuing in fine form Leonora Truce warrants respect, while Hot Love is better than she showed at Southwell on her first outing on the sand this winter last month. However, the favourite is in good form and is difficult to oppose.
