Beady has a good draw in stall two and has been dropping down the weights steadily, but the step back in trip must surely be against him. At the likely odds he is worth opposing, and may find the likes of Rheinpfalz and My Valentine too strong. The latter does look high enough in the weights on what he has achieved so far but is a game sort and looks sure to be involved in the finish. However, we would prefer to side with Rheinpfalz. James Fanshawe's filly, a daughter of Slip Anchor, gets all the allowances, and, too backward to appear at two, is now fit and ready. She has shown enough at home by all accounts to prove far superior to these rivals, and if taking to the Fibresand, should make a winning debut.
