In depth

Verdict

An uninspiring contest that should not take a great deal of winning. Their is little to choose between And Toto Too and Half Hunter on official BHB ratings, with slight preference for the former, whose turf form entitles her to plenty of respect. The latter holds Moon Jaguar on running behind Web Perceptions at Southwell last month. Sir Mark Prescott's Lightsabre has shown little sign of ability in two starts so far and may do better in handicaps, while Mulan Princess has had plenty of chances. In a poor race it may be worth taking a chance with Mark Johnston's Greta D'Argent. Like a lot of her stablemates, the daughter of Great Commotion showed improvement for her debut outing when third to Blue Trojan over seven furlongs earlier this month. The extra distance is likely to bring about further improvement and, at the forecast odds, she is worth a small investment.
