Not a strong handicap and it may be worth chancing RAHY'S CROWN first-time back after a lengthy absence, while Zalkani and Allez Frank can also go well. It is perhaps significant that Gary Moore has persevered with Rahy's Crown, who has not been seen since something went amiss over hurdles two years ago. The gelding returns to the flat over a trip that is ideal and from a very handy mark. He acts on the polytrack, comes from a yard in good form, and in the hope that he will be full of enthusiasm now that he is fresh, we will side with him. Zalkani is up 4lb for a c&d win last time. While he has won off higher marks than this on a number of occasions, those were some time ago and for now he may just struggle to follow up and is at the very least vulnerable. Allez Frank is not easy to assess, but he is not in bad nick at present and certainly merits respect. Desert Hawk will probably struggle from this mark, and the same goes for both Shandlelight and Thorny Mandate and we think Rahy's Crown can be the king here.
