Verdict
Silver Dane has good enough form to get the nod over Edged In Gold, Campeon and Almaty Express. The last named has been a little unfortunate to come up against revitalised rivals in his last few starts but he has still run encouragingly. Five furlongs suits the gelding ideally and, from a fair mark, he holds solid each-way claims in this company. Campeon was comfortably in front of Limonia when they met at Brighton earlier in the month and should uphold the form. However, he is hard to win with and is not one to trust implicitly. Previous course winner Edged In Gold has really got her act together well at present and deserved to get her head in front when she was last seen out. Still, she barely gets the minimum trip and needs everything to drop just right for her. Therefore, we switch to Silver Dane, whose latest form is working out well. The son of Danetime acts well on the Polytrack and, having built up a good working relationship with Kirsty Milczarek, everything is in place for a big run from this improving type.
