        Verdict

        Anabaa's Secret, Cracking Nick and Mudhish look the three to concentrate on in this maiden and the narrow vote is given to Mudhish. The selection is the best drawn of the fancied runners and he shaped with plenty of promise when sixth behind Ruff Diamond at Folkestone on his racecourse debut. Clive Brittain's string normally come on for their first run and if he can improve then he should run a big race. Anabaa's Secret also shaped with promise on his debut at Warwick but he was beaten a fair way and he has a wide draw here which will make life tough. Similar comments would apply to Cracking Nick who will not need to improve much from his debut to get competitive. Intersky Melody hails from the Kevin Ryan yard and he is worth considering on his debut, especially as he has the best of the draw. However, we will stick with Mudhish who can put his racecourse experience to good use.
