Set Alight has shown much improved form of late but this represents a big step up in class and preference is for Moayed, who gets the vote ahead of Te Quiero. The last mentioned holds solid claims at the weights if able to reproduce the pick of his all-weather form but that has tended to be on Fibresand rather than today's Polytrack surface. Samuel Charles has been given a break since November and has place claims, while Zorn, like Set Alight, is likely to find this opposition beyond him. A bigger threat is likely to come from Chateau Nicol. Brendan Powell's gelding has been performing with some consistency all winter and holds solid claims but is held by the selection on running at Lingfield in December and there is no reason why he should reverse the form with Moayed, who is taken to resume winning ways.
