Vortex, Night Air, Appalachian Trail and Sri Diamond look the main protagonists in another tough race to call and the vote is given to Night Air. The selection won well last time out when beating Les Arcs and although he is rising in the weights he remains at the right end of the handicap and will be hard to beat with his yard continuing in good form. Vortex won this race last year off a much lower mark and he would still have a chance off this mark on his best form of this season but he was pulled up last time out so can not be put forward with any confidence. Appalachian Trail is another worthy of respect on latest win over Denver but the rising in the weights and drop in trip may just find him out so he is over looked on this occasion. Sri Diamond has won his last two races in good style and is another that could go well but this is his toughest assignment to date off his highest mark so he is over looked here. Of the remainder Prince Tum Tum is from a yard in top form and should be noted in the market while Ionian Spring has dropped to a handy mark but in a race that throws up more questions than answers for the winner we return to the progressive Night Air.
