Verdict

A tight-knit affair on paper may go to Turn Of Phrase, with the Mark Brisbourne pair Bravely Does It and Iftikhar worth noting along with Zeloso and Our Destiny. Turn Of Phrase was a beaten favourite over hurdles at Doncaster last month, and it is hoped that the switch back to the Flat will signal a change of fortune for Richard Fahey's charge who pays his first visit here. The trip could be the key here as his last attempt over a mile and a half was a winning one at Carlisle in September. His only other attempt on the Polytrack surface resulted in defeat at Lingfield last February, but he has improved since then. Bravely Does It is now four-pounds worse off with stablemate Iftikhar after beating him by a length over the course and distance 12 days ago, and both should again run well. Our Destiny is closely matched with Bravely Does It on recent course and distance form, while Zeloso scrambled home in a banded race at Lingfield recently but is also entitled to respect. In a hard one to call, we shall stick with Turn Of Phrase.
