    Verdict

Theatre, Maximinus and San Hernando are the three to concentrate on here and the vote is given to Theatre. The selection made a pleasing debut over hurdles in a better race than this when fourth behind Marcel at Newbury. He shaped that day as though he could be capable of winning races in this sphere and he should take plenty of beating. Maximinus rates the main danger as he won well when beating Mel In Blue at Windsor last time. However, that was a weak race and he will probably be better over the bigger obstacles in time, so for that reason he is opposed. San Hernando finished second behind Fame last time but that form was let down on Thursday when Fame was comprehensively beaten. Azzemour is from a leading yard and is another to consider, but for the winner we return to Theatre.
