Richard Hannon's Bilko Pak takes a big drop in class here having run in Newbury's valuable Weatherby's Super Sprint and a decent handicap at York in his last two starts so has to be strongly considered but the son of Barathea has been done few favours with a draw in stall 11 and a better bet looks to be HORTENSIA, who gets the verdict. Mick Channon's filly won by a short-head when dropped to this grade at Hamilton two starts ago but earlier form in handicaps including on the Polytrack is solid and he looks worth backing from stall four. Chepstow maiden winner Scommettitrice and Nottingham scorer Second Encore are others to consider but Hortensia makes plenty of appeal and is preferred.
