Tim Easterby's Diamond Blade would have every chance if able to reproduce the form that he has shown on the Fibresand at Southwell but, like Charles Parnell, he is not seemingly as good on the Polytrack so looks best left out of calculations. Forever's Girl is 14lbs higher than when winning at Redcar last time but is better on this surface so cannot be discounted, while Athaakeel has had little respite from the handicapper and is still 4lb higher than when successful at Redcar four runs ago. Frank Sheridan's Albero di Giuda is better on turf and of more interest may be recent course and distance winner Fantasy Fighter, although a penalty for that win does not make this easy. The vote then goes the way of Andrew Reid's CAVITIE, who has only been raised 3lb for his win over course and distance last month and he can score again.
