Some top trainers represented here and we will take a chance with the once raced Star Crowned, Bauer, Just Observing and Scotland Yard could be the main rivals. Brian Meehan trains our selection who showed plenty of promise on his only juvenile start. He finished a close up third behind Heaven Knows in a six furlong event here and being by Kingmambo he will be much more at home over this longer trip. Luca Cumani trains Bauer who is superbly bred son of Halling. He ran in two competitive maidens last season and looks the type to do much better in his second season. Just Observing went close on numerous occasions last season and earned a rating of 83. That would normally be good enough to land a race of this stature and he looks a threat to all. Scotland Yard showed plenty of ability on his debut and should come on for the run. Meanwhile Italian Romance and Hunting Party are both well connected and should be monitored in the betting. All in all a race that should be treated with caution and Star Crowned is a sporting selection.
