This has the makings of a tight handicap but BUONA SARAH ran well on her first start for current connections and can score from Celtic Ransom and Rock D'Argent. Jim Boyle has his string in decent order with many runners making the frame and this filly should add strength to that belief by going close having taken fourth on her first start for the yard. That was over at Lingfield but she ran well at Dundalk when trained in Ireland and should be able to transfer her best form here, which would make her the one to beat. Celtic Ransom is interesting with Michael Hills riding for his brother and this colt may run well on his handicap debut. A degree of guesswork is required but he is at least bred to improve with age and a rating of 58 allows the colt room to do just that, although a market check is advised before any bets are struck. Firetrap is interesting with Sanders up but she's bred for speed and may struggle to see out this trip, so more of a threat may emerge from Rock D'Argent. Andy Haynes does well with his runners and the booking of Neil Callan suggests this unexposed sort is thought capable of going close on his handicap debut having run with credit in a claimer last time. Wavertree Bounty is a handicap debutant as well and needs a look in the market, Gulf Punch doesn't look worthy of even the most lowly of ratings and Kingsdine remains a shade high in the weights so we'll return to Buona Sarah in this low-grade handicap.
