In an interesting nursery, Lady Grace gets the call ahead of Ghost Dancer and Billy Dane. Lady Grace has a likeable profile for this race, having stepped up on an eyecatching debut at Kempton to win a maiden at the same venue. She looks to be on the up and also looks set to play her part in this race. Ghost Dancer's second to King Charles at Lingfield last time has since been given another boost so he has to be seriously considered. Averticus has shown gradual improvement, winning at Yarmouth last time, and cannot be overlooked even though this is his all-weather debut. Dubai Magic returns to the all-weather after some fair Turf runs and it could yet show him in a better light, while Heywood, who has run well at Lingfield, has already won twice this season and was not disgraced behind King Charles at Newmarket last time. Billy Dane's only win to date came here and he has also to be considered, while the beautifully-bred Leopard King now tries a visor and a step up in trip in order to get the best from him. The tactics could yet work but, for today, we will side with Lady Grace.
