In depth
Verdict
An interesting opener sees Aaim To Prosper, Amazing Request and Golden Balls short listed, with the vote going to the first-named horse. Aaim To Prosper boasted solid maiden form before scoring on the all-weather last time and rates a major player here. This mile trip will suit Amazing Request better than the seven at Chepstow last time, although he still managed to win, and he looks a key player too at this level. Golden Balls was unlucky in running at Ascot last time, where he would have finished closer given a clear pasage, and he has to come into the reckoning as well. Recent Chepstow and Beverley scorers, Mutaddarej and Practicallyperfect, respectively, are also entitled to their supporters. Finally, Rosie's Day showed improved form at Newmarket last time and, being a 60,000 guineas son of Rock Of Gibraltar, Duty Free rates as an interesting newcomer. Overall, though, we will stick with Aaim To Prosper as the choice.
