      Verdict

In another tight handicap, we will side with Personify ahead of Don Pietro and Kingsholm. Anywhere near the best of his 2005 form would make Norton a major player today. Davenport is only a pound above his winning May mark and, lightly raced since then, comes firmly into the reckoning. As does the consistent Don Pietro, who confirmed his wellbeing with a good run at Ascot last time. A return to Turf last time saw Kingsholm get back to winning ways and a four-pounds rise should not stop him from running well again. If putting his best foot forward, Dry Ice is not without claims from his current mark, similar comments applying to Baylaw Star. All Quiet looked unlucky in running at Salisbury last time and her chance cannot be dismissed, while Personify remains very consistent and is another to give some thought to from his current mark and the fact that he comes here in form. Finally, Bonnie Prince Blue and Rubenstar ran similar races in mid-division last time and, all things considered, it would be no surprise to see either or both run well today. Overall, though, we will side with Personify.
