Verdict
In the opener, Minnis Bay is selected ahead of Apache Dawn and Henry The Seventh. Apache Dawn stepped up on his debut to finish a narrow second at Warwick last time. He can go well today, as can Mark Johnston's Fujisan, who showed promise on Turf on his debut. Henry The Seventh also stepped up on his debut to finish second at Lingfield last time, so give him serious thought, while Minnis Bay comes right into things based on his Newmarket debut fifth. Rudry Dragon has shown promise on each start to date, although not enough to be hugely confident about his chances, and Sagredo is one of Sir Mark Prescott's that might do better over further and in time. Solid Rock is another that has shown promise, while much as Stanley George disappointed last time, he would hold claims if building on his debut promise. All in all, an interesting race of its kind, with the vote going to Minnis Bay, although the betting might provide you with a few clues.
