RED CADEAUX can defy a penalty to score in this handicap; The Last Alzao and Ameeq head the list of dangers. The selection won on his handicap debut over this course and distance last time when he beat Decorum. The manner of that success marked him down as one to stay on the right side of and as there may be more to come from him, this is only his fifth run, we are happy to nominate him as the one to beat. The Last Alzao was a winner last time when she beat Amazing Blue Sky. She got the race run to suit that day but she should be suited by the longer trip and she rates as an obvious danger. Ameeq returns to the level after a spell over hurdles and he looks to be on a fair mark so it would be no surprise to see him getting competitive. Baan is a model of consistency but he has yet to win on the all-weather in 19 attempts. It is hard to get away from Red Cadeaux who should be hard to beat.
