It could pay to side with BUBBELAS in this handicap and she gets the vote over Ice Cool Lady and King Of Axum. John Quinn has enjoyed a fine year so far and this filly is taken to make it back-to-back wins after scoring in a maiden here over this course and distance last time out. She flew at the finish that day despite running green so there should be more to come and she looks sure to run a big race. Mark Johnston is another trainer in good form and King Of Axum is a colt who looks as though he is going the right way. This stiff 6f should suit and from a decent draw he is capable of making the frame. Ice Cool Lady has shaped with promise and she wasn't disgraced at Folkestone last month, but there is a concern over her ability to see out this trip at this track and on that basis we will take her on today. Colonel Mark has the best of the draw and he won well last time when getting the better of Living It Large at Hamilton. He is clearly progressive and with trip and ground to suit, he can't be ruled out. There are plenty in with chances in a trappy contest, but the vote goes to Bubbelas.
