It could pay to look for a bit of value in this race and we will do so with CHARLIE TOKYO who is preferred to Dark Prospect and Applaude. Richard Fahey has his string in great form and Charlie Tokyo does bring some course and distance form to the table. He was a little disappointing in a lady amateurs' race at York last time over 1m4f, but he had previously gone close at Chester and the drop back to today's trip will suit. Dark Prospect won his last start on the turf at Leicester, albeit by a narrow margin, but he went up 8lbs for that success and that proved to be beyond him at Kempton last time. Applaude is well treated on the pick of his form but he didn't seem to get home over 1m3f last time and connections will be hoping today's drop in trip works the oracle. Charlie Tokyo is not easy to catch right but we will take a chance on him regaining the winning thread.
