This is a tricky race to call but the vote goes to BEAUCHAMP VICEROY over Obe Royal and Old Romney. The selection ran well in a handicap at Kempton last time and he has to be a leading player now that he is dropped into this grade. He has a good draw and we think he can make it count by leading them all home. Obe Royal finished well behind our selection last time and from a dreadful draw it is hard to see him turning the tables here. Old Romney also has a poor draw and this drop in trip is another factor that counts against him today. Northern Desert has won over this course and distance and the yard are very shrewd so if the market were to speak in his favour then it could pay to take note. This is a not a race to get too excited about and Beauchamp Viceroy can land the prize.
