Benllech, Distant Sun and Bel Cantor are the three for the shortlist in this competitive contest to close the card and the vote goes to Benllech. The selection arrives here in sparkling form and the manner of his most recent success when he beat Angel Voices would suggest that there is more to come. He has been rising in the weights but that has been countered by the improvement that he has shown and from the plum draw he should prove tough to beat. Distant Sun is another in good form but he had the best of the draw when he beat Financial Times here last time over 5f and he will need a bit of luck to score from stall 7. Bel Cantor is well-treated on the pick of his turf form and he opened up his all-weather account here last time when he beat Chatshow. He has to be of interest here from a good low draw and it would be no surprise to see him go close. Financial Times looks to have a little to find with some of these rivals if he is to score, and we will stick with Benllech who is taken to land the nightcap.
