Dalawan surprised many with win over the course last month but that was a poor contest and we will oppose him here with Bene Lad while Alfabet Souk and Shuilmin are others to consider. Bene Lad was just begining to give way when taking a tired fall last time. Back over hurdles here, he is unexposed and should go well. Dalawan is respected on the basis of that win recently beating a moderate filly in the process. Being a nine year old he is unlikely to be improving but the extra four furlongs will suit. Alfabet Souk disappointed at Newbury where he never travelled but stuck on doggedly to land a Newcastle contest previously. Shuilmin is very one paced with ground concerns but his leading conditional renews rivalry. Bene Lad is selected to land the opener.
