In depth

Verdict

Not a contest that makes immediate appeal however with further inspection we can outline Paddy The Piper as worthy of a bet; Pelo Du Bief looks the main danger. The selection has not been seen for over 500 days but races off a mark of 110 today having won off a mark as high as 135 in his prime. A course winner in the past, if the market speaks in his favour then he must be afforded utmost respect. Pelo Du Bief got rid of his jockey last time out at Taunton at the first flight but if his confidence is intact then he must rate a massive danger. Prince Adjal is a course winner but has a bit to find on recent running, whilst Aberdare is a course and distance winner and has claims as he tumbles down the weights. Bumper is not on a winning mark but hasn¿t been showing up of late and so we will return to Paddy The Piper to small stakes.
