Elsie Jo is an interesting contender along with Sorrel Point but SILVANUS may prove up to defying a penalty. Paul Midgley's charge has gained three of his four career successes, including his latest, on grass but he doesn't have too bad a record at this venue having made the frame on half of his six starts. Success at Dunstall Park has eluded him thus far but he remains well handicapped under a penalty and should give a good account. The market may be the best guide to expectations for Elsie Jo ahead of her return to action which sees her sport headgear for the first time. She's returned a beaten favourite on each of her last three starts whilst her yard has been struggling for winners in recent months but she has to be on the radar. Sorrel Point is still a maiden but he ran well over course and distance on his most recent outing and has claims on that form whilst Albero Di Giuda and Almaty Express are others that could feature if able to find their best but the in-form Silvanus is preferred.
