DHHAMAAN is put forwards in a competitive heat where we also expect to see Fortezza and Guildenstern take a hand. Ruth Carr won this race last year and she has her team in top form at present and that includes Dhhamaan who comes into this race on the back of a solid run at Musselburgh and victory at Newcastle. He's a dual course and distance winner and should still be competitive from his revised mark. Guildenstern is only 2lbs higher than when last successful and pops up every now and then when everything falls into place and has live claims if they do so although he does need a little luck with his style of racing. Fortezza is improving with experience and has run well enough on her last two starts to believe that she can be a factor if taking to the surface whilst there are no problems on that score for the likes of Kheley, Woolston Ferry and The City Kid who all have wins at the track to their name. Competitive fare with Dhhamaan taken to come out on top.
