CASTLES IN THE AIR is the pick ahead of Soccerjackpot and Leahurst. The gelding has been a credit to the training skills of Richard Fahey and while he probably was overassessed by the handicapper after taking the big Ladies race at Ascot; the drop of 2lb should be a help as will be the return to this trip. Soccerjackpot represents a yard that are very much in form. He makes plenty of appeal on the basis of a victory at the course. Leahurst dotted up in a maiden at the course. The form of his latest run at Haydock was given a boost by the winner last weekend as he won the Beverley Bullet. Masai Moon is ultra consistent. It is to be hoped that the final couple of pounds of improvement can be squeezed out by the application of cheekpieces. More Time Tim races off 87 today. He won off 84 in July and clearly has been aimed with this race in mind. Nightjar is probably a better proposition on Southwell's fibresand than this surface so is reluctantly opposed. Brae Hill was a tad disappointing at Goodwood but on his Chester effort, he has to be a factor. Novellen Lad was disappointing on his only previous start on this surface though has improved on turf since. A good race and Castles In The Air is selected.
