Bella Pavlina has been in a bit of form of late and so gets the vote ahead of the improving Khuzdar and Moyne Pleasure. Bella Pavlina finished strongly when finally opening her account over the extended mile here just over a fortnight ago, and then had the misfortune to run into the very much in-form Sendintank in amateur company at Southwell 11 days ago. She was the only one to make a race of it with the hotpot that day, and should make a bold bid to make amends in this company, with the trip to suit. Khuzdar, a winner on Turf at Bath last year, ran his best race on the all-weather so far when chasing home Misty Man here 10 days ago, but will find Bella Pavlina a lot harder to cope with. Newclose has been placed on his last three outings but looks nothing special, and Moyne Pleasure makes more appeal. Paul Johnson's charge has been successful five times at Wolverhampton and has only had two runs back after a break. He will be a bit fitter now and should be playing for a place. The one to beat though is Bella Pavlina, especially if Giust In Temp runs well half an hour earlier.
