There's not a great deal of depth to this contest, and marginal preference is for INIS BOFFIN ahead of Persian Memories and Course De Diamante. Sylvester Kirk's filly is among the highest rated here, but has a stone in hand from the top-weighted King's Kazeem. The step up in trip should suit, judging by the way she finished in eye-catching style last time when second over a mile at Chepstow. Her sole win to date came over nine furlongs at Wolverhampton, but she looks well suited to come here. Persian Memories seems well-handicapped, and was third last time out at Leicester over a mile and a half, and that represented her best run to date. Course De Diamante is an improver, and should appreciate the extra distance here from her three runs in maidens. Silken Promise and Spirit of the Glen are also making their handicap debuts, but neither's shown anything much to date to encourage us. It's not a great race, but we think it can go the way of Inis Boffin.
