Races don't come much lowlier than this class six seller, but LEFTONTHESHELF has shown a modicum of form this season, and gets our tentative support ahead of El Dececy and Irish Music. John Spearing's filly has only twice finished outside the first three in eight races, and most recently was a beaten favourite when second at Yarmouth in a similar race. She's certainly got one of these within her scope, and being joint bottom weight is giving her every assistance. She's got the highest official rating, and this sort of race often goes the way the stats suggest it should. El Dececy is consistent at this level having won his last two sellers in the last month or so, but struggled in handicaps. The draw's a positive for him here. Bertie Southstreet ended a long losing run last week to win a claimer at Folkestone. Duke of Milan is having his third run for Tom Dascombe, and has a first time visor to bring out further improvement which he's shown since switching from the all-weather to turf. Irish Music drops into selling company for the first time and any support may be significant. It's not a great race, but we'll side with the formbook, and Leftontheshelf.
