Verdict

It will be a big surprise if BIRDINTHEHAND gets beat here and we will put him forward to get the better of Dark Oasis and Cape Marien. This filly from the Henry Cecil yard is the clear form pick on the evidence of her second to Sabotage at Leicester at the start of this month. There should be more to come from her as this will be only her third run and it is hard to see her getting turned over with conditions to suit. Dark Oasis wasn't beaten far at Ripon last month and this longer trip should work in his favour so if the selection fails to fire then he should be the one to profit. Cape Marien was well beaten on her debut and although she should come on for the experience, she will need to do so to get competitive. Jay Gee Wigmo hails from a shrewd yard and is another worth a market check, but for the winner we will stick with Birdinthehand.
