Verdict

With a high draw and experience on his side it is COCOHATCHEE who is selected ahead of Bilko Pak and Sir Rocky. The selection shaped with plenty of promise when second to Cape To Rio on debut at Folkestone and today's quicker ground shouldn't be a worry. Richard Hannon has made a flying start with his debutant juveniles and he trained the winner of that race at Folkestone. Today he has Sir Rocky making his debut and although he will get further in time it would be unwise to take him lightly. Bilko Pak made his debut in a strong race at HQ and shaped with promise; he will find this race a tad easier with that experience under his belt. David Evans has made an excellent start with his youngsters and his Camacho filly Littleportnbrandy ran a blinder over this course and distance when staying on for third behind Zebedee. Along with stablemate Tagena she is considered a major player, however with a caveat of a market check, it is Cocohatchee who is nominated.
