Verdict

AATHER is the call in the opener with Superius and Wade Farm Billy on the shortlist of dangers. Alan Fleming's charge has plenty of class about him having campaigned in some of the better novice prizes this term. He struggled in the Imperial Cup though can be seen to better light in this non-handicap. Superius was just below listed class on the flat in Ireland. After a modest debut at Exeter, he produced a much improved effort to land a Wincanton prize. Wade Farm Billy is rated 118. His ability to handle fast ground is not in doubt and if the principals fail, he has to be considered as representing some value. Fahrisee won at odds of 100/1 at Hereford. He had his chance to beat Cloudy Spirit at Market Rasen though was unable to do so. His BHA figure seems a little high on balance. Minneapolis was once on the rosters at Aidan O'Brien's but his hurdling technique seems agricultural at best. Western Palm makes his debut for Charlie Mann and this former pointer is worth a watch in the market. Outside The Box was unfancied at Newbury but showed up promisingly to score. The question is as to whether that performance can be reproduced on much faster ground. Plenty of future winners though for today, we are with Aather.
