In depth

Verdict

A very tricky affair in which MARAKSH is interestingly handicapped against Viva Colonia and Doctor Foxtrot. The assessor has allocated a mark of 99 for Emma Lavelle's charge and now that this half-brother to Petit Bob is handicapped, we could see much better from him. Viva Colonia returns from absence. Proven on a fast surface, the market is watched accordingly. Doctor Foxtrot is yet to score though Phillip Hobbs' stable is continuing to fire in the winners. Manele Bay is a likeable mare. She won cosily at Fontwell and could easily improve again. Kauto The Roc does not seem to have the same abilities as his half-brother and has spurned easier chances than this. Feel The Force has not been seen out since last October. The handicapper has kept him on the same mark that he had him at at Uttoxeter. Prescelli has an interesting jockey booking in Richard Johnson tonight. Maraksh is a speculative call in a trappy race.
