Caustic Wit has solid claims on recent form but has been done few favours with a low draw and a better bet may be Gwilym, with Prettilini rated the pick of the remainder. The selection has done little wrong in two starts, both here at Windsor, this season and is taken to defy a 2lb rise for his latest narrow defeat behind Bahamian Ballet. The History Man was good value for his win at Ayr last time but may struggle to follow up under his 6lb penalty, while Endless Summer has failed to sparkle in two starts this term so looks best watched. Puskas has gradually slipped down the handicap but may still be a shade high in the weights and of more interest at the other end of the handicap may be the well drawn Prettilini. Gwilym looks the form choice of the field though and is taken to make the most of his good draw.
