    Verdict

With question marks about the Henry Cecil stable, La Scala is foregone and Trust Rule is selected. Henry Cecil's charge certainly has the best form to offer with a second to Time Ahead sparkling out like a beacon in the context of this race. However, the master trainer's string look badly out of sorts at the moment and our allegiances are switched to Trust Rule. Trust Rule has a rating of 84. Placed in maidens at decent tracks, he has been unlucky in the sense that he has ran against some decent sorts and with doubts about the other runners, he is the percentage call. Prado and Mephisto are interesting from the Cumani team. The former looked impressive on his sole racecourse start and the market must be consulted for any signs of encouragement. Alnaja never showed in a hot Leicester maiden and should have come on for that debut run.
