Olivander and Majestic Mile look two promising debutants against Oro Verde in this contest. Gerard Butler's Olivander is a half-brother to Medicean. If he possesses any of the ability of that useful performer, he will be very difficult to beat. Majestic Mile has a more sprint-laden pedigree. The stable have not really been firing at present and the market is watched for signs of encouragement. Thomas Lawrence has a South-African background. On breeding, he should be a better three-year-old. Oro Verde was sixth in a hot Newbury maiden behind Gwaihir and should have come on for the experience. Bellagio Princess is related to a number of smart milers and anything she achieves here will be a bonus.
